Justyn Shackleford long shot to play vs. UAB

TheWaveReport.com Sophomore wide receiver Justyn Shackleford did not practice Wednesday and is unlikely to play Saturday when Tulane faces UAB in the Superdome.
Shackleford injured his hamstring in the third quarter against UTEP after catching six passes for a season-high 130 yards, the most for any Tulane receiver in a game this year.
"There's no indication that he will be (ready to play)," coach Curtis Johnson said. "It's just because I see him walking around with a limp."
Without Shackleford, Tulane (1-6, 1-2 Conference USA) still has options at receiver.
