Sophomore guard Adam Skidmore spent 10 minutes talking with The Wave Report on Tuesday about the improvement of the offensive line since the beginning of the season and what needs to happen for the Green Wave to continue rolling behind white-hot quarterback Ryan Griffin. Some of it we used in the front page feature yesterday. Here's the rest of that interview:

The same five linemen who started against Rutgers in the season opener will start against Rice in week 8. How important has that continuity been in your development?

"They are all the same five starters who started the first game of the season, and with the exception of Eric Jones, we were all fresh guys to start. I think coach (McDonnell) knew at beginning of the season that it wasn't going to be a flawless start. He knew that coming in. He knew there was a lot of work to be done. We had to build from the ground up, and he's done that with us. And by no means are we a finished product, by no means at all, but it goes to show you that his coaching his working. It's paying off."
