Tulane's game at Alabama today (5 p.m, ESPNU) is its last chance to notch a significant out-of-conference win.

Of course, by that definition, the Green Wave is in the same class as every other Conference USA team. The league, which Tulane will ditch for the Big East in two years, is completing a historically horrible preseason and is virtually guaranteed to get only one bid to the NCAA tournament in March.
